Here are some of the most frequently asked questions by clients

What other types of wood are available?

Southern yellow pine is typically selected for the rustic appeal of the wood; however, there are some disadvantages.  Pine is a softwood and will dent fairly easily.  I personally believe this trait adds to the character of the tables!  If you wanted to upgrade the choice of wood though, there are numerous options available.  Soft maple, oak, ash, mahogany, hickory, and many other hardwoods can selected to meet your needs.

Do you deliver?

I do deliver within the Austin and surrounding areas for a small fee.  Arrangements can be made for the San Antonio area.

I’m trying to match a specific color. Can you help?

The beauty of stain is the almost endless color varieties you can achieve.  The more information you can provide, the better I can help find the right option.

How does the ordering process work?

All pieces are custom built to your specific needs.  After we determine the details of your new piece, a deposit of half the amount is due.  Payments are made online via PayPal or any major credit card.  Prefer to pay via cash or check?  We can meet up in the Austin area, at your convenience, and handle payment then.  The remaining portion of the payment is due on delivery day.

Can I change my order or cancel at any time?

You may cancel your order up until the build begins, and your deposit will be refunded that day.  If the build is in process, you cannot cancel your order, but you may change certain aspects of your order based on the progress.  Please contact me as soon as possible with changes.

Can I order pieces that aren’t showcased on the website?

Please contact me with your idea and we will work together to make it happen!

What’s the average lead-time?

Lead-time is based on the number of currently placed deposits; however, the average time is 2 weeks.  Please contact me for the current schedule.
